Multiple, sustained acupuncture point treatment

The MAD-1 Acupuncture point Stimulator provides genuine needless acupuncture therapy. There is no doubting the therapeutic effects of traditional acupuncture however the use of needles to stimulate acupuncture points is not without its problems. Many people before us have recognised this and there are many types of acupuncture point stimulators on the market, however they are also not without their own drawbacks and limitations.
  No Cables or wires

No electric shocks or TENS

No complex instructions

No more needles

No more hand held units

No more inconvenience

The MAD-1 provides genuine needless acupuncture.

In complete contrast the MAD-1 emits a very specific type of pulsed electromagnetic wave that produces exactly the same effects as the deep insertion of an acupuncture needle.

Many people are tempted to try acupuncture therapy with cheap "electric shock" type stimulators and are very often disappointed with the results of treatment. Hand held "electric shock" type stimulators do not reproduce the same unique physiological effects as the insertion of needles and therefore do not reproduce the same therapeutic effects.

The health care professionals who designed the MAD-1 spent more than five years testing and refining it, so that it genuinely replicated the actual effects of the insertion of needles and therefore provided patients with the true benefits of acupuncture therapy.

If you want to know more about how the MAD-1 micro-therapy unit works please visit our technology page for more detailed information.

How does acupuncture work? Acupuncture is based on over 3000 years of clinical observation. However, until very recently, little was known as to how it actually works. An awful lot of scientific research has been carried out in recent years into acupuncture, a great deal of which was carried out by ourselves when we were developing this product. Please see our Technology page for more information on that research.
As science and  technology is advancing, we are beginning to be able to accurately measure more and more of the tiny changes that take place inside the human body, which govern how it functions. Research is showing that acupuncture can effect virtually every system in the body and that acupuncture even has immediate effect on neurological activity in the brain.
Although much has been discovered recently, it is still unclear as to exactly how acupuncture produces all of the far reaching physiological effects that it does. However, listed below, are some of the most recent finding and theories on how acupuncture works.

Acupuncture and the MAD-1,
restoring balance to your system.

Traditional acupuncture is based on over 3,000 years of exacting research and observation. It is a system that is structured around determining the 'patterns' of imbalance that are unique to each one of us, and then provides a treatment that is tailor-made to restore the balance for that individual.

Acupuncture have been gaining ever more recognition in the west as more and more studies are carried out into its effectiveness. The World Health Organisation (W.H.O.) recently carried out a review of clinical studies in to the effectiveness of acupuncture and concluded that acupuncture has now been proven to be an effective treatment for more than 40 diseases, including many of the disorders listed below, which are now commonly treated with acupuncture.
